We had an amazing event with the University of North Florida Transportation & Logistics Society members. UNF’s Transportation & Logistics Society is a student-led organization that promotes, fosters, and encourages student interest in the field of transportation and logistics. TLS creates a relationship network to promote the growth of the transportation and logistics program while enhancing members’ skills through shared professional experiences. NDTA was proud to sponsor three speakers from the local Jacksonville area. Chuck Nygaard, Captain Chuck Nygaard, US Navy (Ret), Jim Dubberly, CEO Compass Global Business Services, LLC, and John Schuler, Director Defense and Public Sector Public Relations for Compass Global Business Services, LLC.

Captain Jeffrey Flumignan, Director, Office of Maritime & Intermodal Outreach, Maritime Administration, Department of Transportation, spoke briefly and is currently networking with UNF TLS to speak at future events.

It was a great evening, incredibly informative, and we can’t wait to support UNF TLS throughout this school year term.
